Terms and conditions
These purchase and delivery conditions apply to your purchase of goods through tbsgallery.no. The agreement consists of these general terms and conditions, information provided in the order solution and completed order. The agreement will also be supplemented by relevant legal provisions that regulate the purchase of goods between traders and consumers, such as the Consumer Purchase Act, the Right of Cancellation Act and the Personal Data Act. To be able to register a customer account with us, or to buy goods via our website, you must be 18 years old and have a Norwegian postal address.
Seller is TBS Gallery, Oscars gt. 23, 0352 Oslo, and is hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us".
Buyer is the consumer who makes the order, and is referred to in the following as "you", "you", "your" or "yours".
Making purchases in the online store
Items are ordered by clicking on the desired item and following the steps in the online store. You can check to change the information in your order until you requestrafter the order by clicking on "Send order". When you have clicked on "Send order", a binding purchase agreement is considered to have been entered into. You still have the right to withdraw from the purchase in accordance with the Act on the right of withdrawal, see more information on the right of withdrawal below. When we receive your order, we will confirm the order by sending an order confirmation to your provided email address.
Disclaimer of errors
We strive to give our customers as correct information about our goods as possible. We reserve the right, however, that typing errors or technical errors in text, prices and images may occur, which may mean that we cannot deliver according to the information provided in our online store. Among other things, we would like to point out that the colors of the art prints and sculptures can be experienced somewhat differently in reality than in the pictures. Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel your order or part of it, if the item is sold out. In such situations, you will be notified by e-mail about this. We can change the content of the website, such as assortment, prices etc., without prior notice. Changing the content on the website will not result in changes to purchases already made.
Prices and shipping costs
The prices stated in the online shop are inclusive of 5% Art tax in the event of a purchase of artwork. Postcards and books are at the current rate, and are charged in Norwegian kroner.
Our shipping costs are calculated on volume and weight for all purchases. In individual cases, TBS Gallery will transport works by Skjølsvik to the buyer. If you want to pick up the work or other goods at the gallery, it is possible during opening hours or by appointment on phone +47 938 66 935.
You can pay with a payment card (debit or credit card) linked to BankAxept, Visa or Mastercard if you come to the gallery. If you are unable to pick up works, books or other goods from us in Oscars gt. We will send you an invoice. In the event of a return, the refund will be made to the card you used for payment, and if you have paid via invoice, we will refund the amount to the account from which the payment was made. In order to be able to pay by invoice, the following criteria apply: The customer must be 18 years old, have a Norwegian social security number and have a registered address. The address cannot be a PO Box address. The customer must also have a satisfactory credit check at the same time.
The goods can be sent with PostNord or Posten to your nearest delivery point.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you may have the right to cancel your purchase in accordance with the Right of Cancellation Act. This means that you can cancel the purchase without reason up to 14 days after you, or your representative, received the goods. To make use of the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of this. This can be done by filling in the right of withdrawal form and sending it to us at email@example.com. You will receive the form together with the order confirmation, or you can download it here: right of withdrawal form. Remember that you can always use the return form that comes with your package. Please send everything together to us.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, the item must be returned to us in the same condition as when you received it, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the notification of exercise of the right of withdrawal being given. We will await the completion of the refund of the purchase price until we have received the package in return, or you have given us proof that you have returned it. Reimbursement of the purchase price will take place within 3 – 10 working days.
If the item is faulty or missing, you must contact us as soon as possible and within a reasonable time after you received the item(s) via firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can check the item.
We basically only use personal data that you provide to us, and that is necessary for us to be able to carry out our obligations towards you, for example the execution of payment. In cases where we also use personal data for other purposes, for example to send you information about offers in newsletters etc., we only do this when you have given consent to such processing. Your personal data will only be disclosed to others when you have either consented to the disclosure, or when it is necessary for us to carry out the agreement with you, or when the law otherwise allows it. If you have questions about personal data relating to you, or wish to make use of your rights to access, correction, blocking, deletion, etc. in accordance with the Personal Data Act, you can contact us at email@example.com or see ours privacy statement.
